Humble Beginnings

It all started back in 1953 for Dalston Motor Cycles ( DMC ) when founder Sid Pope returning from duty for his country in World War II as an 18 year old boy started to fulfil his love.

Sid as a motorcycle enthusiast began to repair motorbikes in his dad’s yard, as business started to grow along with the marriage of Jo it was essential to move to bigger premises in order to push his business on.

DMC Repair Service

Sid's grandsons Scott and Ross now provide the repair service at DMC, fixing everything from classics to modern sports bikes and everything in between. Call for a free quote on: 020 7249 2360

The Move to Kingsbury Road

Together Sid and Jo brought the property formally the stables of the grey hound pub in Kingsbury Rd in which proudly belongs to Dalston Motor Cycles to this day.

I’ve been using DMC for over 20 years now. They always look after me and my bikes, nothing’s too much trouble. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Mr P. Snowling

As years went on Sids son Adrian developed a huge interest in bikes, at the age of 15 he started scrambling ( motocross ) after leaving school there was only one thing Adrian wanted to do and that was follow in his fathers footsteps and work full time for DMC.

Motocross / Race Preparation

Adrian and his sons are all mad about motocross, competing locally in Essex. Whatever level you're at, the workshop team have got your back.

As Adrian’s passion grew so did his 4 sons, both in motocross and involvement in the shop where Scott and Ross work full time, boasting 3 generations of the highest integrity, honesty and love for the motorcycle industry.
